ADDING
AUTOBRAKES
Back
to
Home page FS-addon
We
can add automatic braking
to most aircrafts integrating in their panel and their
aircraft.cfg any free "gauges" :
On this presentation
page, internal and external links in FS
Book are shown as ***********
Add a
"Groundhandling" taxi to
For this, you
must install the
"Gauge"
named "Groundhandling" in a the
panel or in a window
The
"groundhandling" can regulate the taxi speed of the aircraft
by
automatic brakes
and provides the permanent control of ground speed
(
See ***********
for
the
integration procedures of the gauge and its
"window" in a panel ).
There are
several versions,
more or less
advanced, that can be found in major
sites
download addons listed in
our website.
The
"Groundhandling" is
operational from 3 to 50
Mn, it
brakes or accelerates to reach
speed
programmed on the monitor screen.
In the FS
2002 version
"Groundhandling" named so "Pushback"
accepted a speed of 1 Mn but that has not been
maintained
on FS2004 and FSX.
In its
most complete version the
"Groundhandling" may
make a
tractor airport back aircraft, according
already
in this
FSX but it adds a programming feet setback distance
and a rotation with
distance to
left or right at the identical
programming
made with a FMC.
The most
advanced
"groundhandling" add an audio
feature reproducing the talks between the crew and
soil
during these maneuvers.
Many
witnesses inform on the
state of
functions
"Groundhandling" enabled or not, including a light commitment
brakes plus an effect
sound.
The
actual speed
taxi appears
right of the programmed speed.
Can
add
"Groundhandling"
in virtually all airplanes operating under
FSX.
Take
off : The "
Groundhandling "
disengages automatically if you increase the
power without making a "fixed point" in early
track.
In
approach ( See *********************
) Can be associated
and program "Groundhandling" and "Autobrakes"
When
ground speed
passes
less
than 50
Mn the " Groundhandling " replaces " Autobrakes ".

ADDING
AN
" AUTOBRAKE "
AT LANDING
We can
add an " autobrake (s)
"
to
" jets " and " turboprops " that are not provided
for
this :
Add
to a panel one of the "gauges" below:
( See **********for Collecting
and ************* for the installation method )
- Button
on a gray background:
Gauge**=**************
654,494,44,36 / / The size is 44 by 36 ( See
*************
)
- Button
on transparent
background
: Gauge **=******************* 140,820,40,40 / / The horizontal position is 140,
Vertical
820 ( Screen = 1000/1000)
- Or
another button:
Gauge **=*****************
474,723,35,35 / / Less
compatible with all aircraft than
previous two.
Then
modify or add
in paragraph [brakes] directory "Aircraft.cfg"
of
unit
: (See ***************
)
[brakes]
parking_brake =
1
/ /
Parking brake on ( Boolean Order : If 0 it
is
inactive )
toe_brakes_scale = 1.20
/
/ Force
braking original 1.00 ( Over 1.50 it becomes a little
unrealistic )
auto_brakes = 4
/
/
Activation function autobrakes for most devices except
small single-engine ......
The
contribution of autobrake
is that it engages automatically
with a power set, the brakes as soon as
the aircraft is grounded until the expected speed
for
taxi.
The
power goes autobrakes
: -1 (Emergency Braking
off) through 0 (Inactivated) then
1 to 4 (more power or less strong in autobrakes
feature
the aircraft,
weight,
runway length, etc. ..... ). On some
devices
their use depends on the pressure available at
this
effect.
If you
have not collected
gauges to
to integrate in
panel ( See **********
,
************* and
***************
) You can
replace commands to the keyboard
in the screen
Home / Settings / Controls / Buttons-keys for both FSX
lines of automatic brake controls ( Autobrakes ) you
can
assign
letter ( F by example ) to increase
their
power and
another ( D if you want ) decreases.
You
can also adjust
the only power brake
in
amending the "aircraft.cfg" of the device (
Show
method in *******************
) :
toe_brakes_scale = 1.20 instead of 1.00 or less original.
This reinforces all autobrakes, brakes
park brake "foot" matched and differential (
Left /
Right).
For landing we can also
associate with autobrakes an autospoiler
: It
automatically deploys the spoilers (
Airbrakes)
landing and Autoland ( For programming
FMC or
a "gauge" of autoland ). The " Autoland "
retract
flaps,
engage automatiq lles spoilers after the airplane is
posed and cut autobrakes and reverses the decision
in
load
braking by the
" Groundhandling " to 50 Mn .....
See ************* and **************
to know
all usable servo take-off
Flight
and landing.

and parking brake
ADDING
AN " ANTISKID " TO AN "
AUTOBRAKE "
The
extension "ANTISKID"
compares
speed trains running on large jets and
harmonized to avoid dérapages en case
rain, snow
or
ice
;
ABS
plane
in
some
so ......
Those systems
are ANTISKID
developed
especially for big airplanes ( 747, AB 380, .... etc. ) in
software add ons and heavy fee.
We find rarely
this "gauge" in free sites (
Tupolev 144 "Concordski" and Lockheed Martin F 35 ou X 35 ...
) The most often
order of commitment is manual. We must
verify
the
paragraph
[brakes] 's "aircraft.cfg" of the device
by following lines
:
[brakes]
parking_brake
= 1
/ / Active
(Off = 0)
toe_brakes_scale = 0.75
/ / (
Power weaker than the usual power 1.00 )
and
sometimes auto_brakes = 3
/ /
For ANTISKID instead of 4
as usual for the activation of autobrakes
Adding
an " ANTISKID " is
random because
this
function must be provided to
start in
file "model"
of the airplane that is not easily editable ( Writed with a specific
computer
language ).
